  1. About ICC Profiles

  3. Painter 5.0 provides Output Preview capabilities through the use of the Kodak Color Management System. This system allows you to select device profiles (ICC profiles) for the scanners, monitors and printers you use most often.

  5. When installing Painter 5, the Easy installation option automatically installs a basic collection of profile. 
  6.  
  7. To add additional profiles to your system, copy them from this folder to the "ColorSync¬ Profiles" folder which is located in your Preferences folder. You can also use the Painter 5 installer. Select the Additional ICC Profiles option during a Custom Install.

  9. Because these profiles are created by Kodak and might be updated in the future, you should not rename them. The following list provides a better description than the file name permits.

  87. As long as your Photoshop Color Settings are set to these values, the Output Preview in Painter will be quite accurate.
